PoupaNaEnergia was born from a common frustration: electricity in Portugal is expensive and it's hard to know if you're on the best tariff. We want to make that decision fast, transparent and commitment-free.
How it works
You upload your bill, we extract the data, compare against all market offers and show you the best option for your consumption. We always explain why we chose that offer.

Transparency
The ranking of results is 100% based on the estimated annual cost for you, without any influence from providers. Today this is a personal project with no revenue: no commissions, ads or partnerships. If that changes, it will be visibly disclosed on each recommendation.

Co-founder and software engineer
Software engineer and co-founder of Poupa na Energia. Designed and implemented the comparison engine, the ERSE scraping pipeline and the indexed-tariff integration from the public TiagoFelicia CSV. Technical coverage of the Portuguese liberalised electricity market since 2025.
Ricardo
Co-founder, partnerships and operations
Co-founder of Poupa na Energia, responsible for retailer partnerships and legal compliance (DSA, ERSE). Runs the 60-day post-switch audits.
